Three things we
won't compromise on.
No five-step funnels. No "discovery to delivery" diagrams. The principles below are the only filter we run every brief through.
CONCEPT
The idea is the brief.
A weak idea executed perfectly still feels weak. Every concept runs through TVIS, our internal framework for stopping the scroll, holding attention, and earning the save. If a concept doesn't survive it, we rebuild. If it does, production becomes the easy part.
CRAFT
Built, not generated.
Blender 3D, SynthEyes for tracking, DaVinci for finish and modern AI tools integrated where they move the work forward faster or open visual territory traditional VFX can't reach alone. The output is never the tool. The output is the film. That's the difference between a pipeline and a prompt.

FREMDWORLD is a Berlin-based VFX studio run by Alex Fremdwelt - seven years building cinematic short-form as @alexfremdwelt, eight campaigns for Samsung, four titles with Universal Studios, and a recurring cast - his real family - whose films have collected billions of views combined.
Most VFX studios sell craft and outsource the instinct. Most creator agencies sell instinct and outsource the craft. FREMDWORLD does both inside the same pipeline. No briefs lost in translation. No production company hand-off where the soul disappears.
We work directly with brands and through agencies. Either way, every project starts with the same question: is the idea strong enough to deserve being made? If it’s not, we say so. That’s why our calendar is short and our work is sharp.

Bringing the film into the everyday.
One Wicked TikTok turned into a year of Universal campaigns. They saw the first cut, came back within days, and the brief grew from one title to four.
Each campaign brought the world of the film into the everyday. Welcome to Emerald City turned Berlin Hbf into an Oz arrival platform, full CGI train and all. The Wild Inside opened a wall into the Jurassic from a living room couch. Toothless at Home brought a photoreal How to Train Your Dragon hero into a living-action set. And Return to Oz took the formula back to Wicked: For Good for the 2026 sequel campaign.
Concept, 3D, animation, live-action shoot, compositing, finish - all run in-house. Coordinated end-to-end with DDA Global out of the UK.

Making the future earn its screen time.
Eight Samsung campaigns across two years, four agencies, and three continents - from a German Bespoke Jet launch to an onsite Galaxy Z Flip7 shoot in the LA Creator Lab. Different briefs, different markets, same principle: the phone earns its screen time by being the only reason the moment exists.
Direct work with Samsung Mobile HQ runs through three agency partnerships. Bespoke Jet AI (VCCP London, 2024) introduced the AI vacuum to the German market. Galaxy Z Flip7 (We Are Social Sydney, 2025) brought us to LA for the global product launch - one Reel, embargoed worldwide, live the moment the device dropped. Galaxy Z Fold Foldables (We Are Social Sydney, 2025) turned a double-decker bus into a folding device that opens into a 3D pop-up world. And SmartThings App (Collectively US, 2025) was a Meta × Samsung Germany co-production for the intelligent home.
Parallel to the direct work, a four-asset run with Leo Burnett Frankfurt embedded Galaxy devices into carrier campaigns for Vodafone and O2 - Tower transformations, FOOH greenery growing from buildings, a giant duck floating in an O2 pool. Different distribution, same hero technology.

FROM LOCAL LAUNCH TO INTERNATIONAL · 2023–2025
Skincare that doesn't float.
Started as a single product reveal in 2023. Three years and four campaigns later, the work has scaled from a local launch into a cross-market push for the Paula’s Choice × Sephora partnership in the Middle East.
Every spot solves the same core challenge skincare brands face on social: how to make a product the protagonist without falling into the “floating bottle on a gradient” trap. The First Spot reintroduced the brand through a live-action protagonist in 2023. Arrived turned a city wall into a crane-revealed billboard launch. SPF with a Superpower framed four sunscreens around their hero ingredients. And Arrival in Dubai flew Sephora-branded helicopters with the four hero products over the Dubai skyline.
Worked directly with the Paula’s Choice DE and EU teams across Berlin and Amsterdam. Concept, 3D, animation, finish - in-house.
